Autobody repairer

A-Best Autobody & Frame Ltd. based in Surrey, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Autobody repairer who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The chosen applicant will be required to join and begin their duties as soon as possible. It will be a Permanent employment or Full time.

Requirements

Languages

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.

Education Requirements

• The contestant should have a minimum secondary (high) graduation certificate qualification.

Experience Requirements

• The applicant should be a minimum work experience of 2-3 years to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

• The candidate must review the damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
• The aspirant should clean and keep the workspace
• The employee should be skilled in replacing front-end components, body components, doors, frames, and underbody components and repairing or restoring damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance.
• The aspirant should file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• The competitor can mask and tape auto-body surfaces in preparation for painting.
• The applicant must hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
• The aspirant should remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• The applicant must apply primers and repaint surfaces.
• The applicant must repair or replace interior components.
• The applicant must repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
• The competitor can inspect repaired vehicles and test-drive vehicles for proper handling.
• Job seekers should mix, paint, blend, and match colors.
• The candidate must operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
• The candidate must straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
