- The applicant should have a minimum secondary (high) graduation certificate qualification.
Experience Requirements
- The candidate should be a minimum work experience of 2-3 years to apply for this position.
Responsibilities
- The applicant must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- The contestant should prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools for building, installing, repairing, and maintaining wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- The aspirant should measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to install, maintain and repair wood, wood substitute, lightweight steel and other materials.
- The aspirant should build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- The aspirant should instruct apprentices.
Work Setting
- The applicant should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
- The applicant should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
